I explained, saying that it was taking each person so long because they were travelling through time and had a lot to do. L retorted that if they were travelling through time, it should be the shortest line in history because everyone would only take a few seconds. I kindly reminded her that the Doctor and the TARDIS don’t have the best track record when it comes to returning to a certain time period. I mean, he told Rose that she would only be gone for an hour and then returned her two years later and her mom Jackie was all like WHERE WERE YOU I HAVE BEEN PUTTING UP MISSING POSTERS FOR FOREVER NOW. The point is, the Doctor takes his time and is on his own timetable, and so apparently are the bathroom-goers at The Way Station.)
